Prairie Adventure Camp

Perfect for young explorers aged 7-14, each 3-day session offers an unforgettable experience where modern gadgets are left behind and hands-on pioneer skills take center stage.

🏕️ Camp Overview:

• Dates: June & July
• Duration: 3 hours per day, 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9am to 12n)
• Age Group: 7-14 years old

Discover Four Unique Programs:

Camp 1: Fun and Games Dive into the world of pioneer pastimes! From weaving and hand-spinning to traditional marbles and calling cards, kids will also try their hand at butter churning, pie making, and even experience the simplicity of old-fashioned laundry.

Camp 2: Tools of the Trade Explore the craftsmanship of yesteryear with quilting and blacksmithing workshops. Cool down with homemade ice cream made the old-fashioned way, creating memories and flavors that will last a lifetime.

Camp 3: Hop, Skip & Jump into the Past Jump into history with activities like hopscotch, candle making, stick weaving, and savoring delicious cornbread. It's a hands-on exploration of how past generations lived and thrived.

Camp 4: Tea Party Celebrate the finer things in life with a charming tea party experience. From pillow and journal making to enjoying lemonade, tea, and scones, it's a day filled with creativity, elegance, and delightful treats.
